17 yaşındaki Şeyhmus'un mağduriyetini Oxford Üniversitesi'ne soran Zaman muhabirine, sözkonusu öğrenciye yönelik bir burs teklifi ve çağrılarının olmadığı cevabı geldi. Açıklamada, Oxford'un mektupla öğrenci kabul etmediğinin altı çizildi.

In short, the story is not true. Here is our statement:

A University spokesperson said:

'This student has neither been offered a place to study nor a scholarship at the University of Oxford. The University has no record of a student of that name applying to study here.

'The University only offers places through a rigorous merit-based applications process.

Losing an offer letter would not disqualify a student from being admitted to Oxford.'
